Welcome to Ladies Travelling Solo! By using this website or booking a trip with me on any platform, you’re agreeing to the terms laid out below. Please take a moment to read them carefully.
Who Are We
Ladies Travelling Solo is run by Beverley Gwadera. We organise small-group trips for women and provide resources and content designed to make solo travel safe, enjoyable, and stress-free.
Using the Website
You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes and in a way that doesn’t harm, restrict, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it. The content you see on this site (copy, photos, trip info etc.) belongs to me, unless otherwise stated. Please don’t copy or reuse it without permission.
Payments & Refunds
Payment Process:

Payment of 25% deposit due at time of reservation, payable by a secure payment link (20% on bookings made prior to 7th April 2026).

Payment of 80% balance due 16 weeks before arrival, payment by a secure payment link (12 weeks on bookings made prior to 7th April 2026).
* please note any deviation from these terms will be stated on the booking platform and accepted prior to payment

Cancellation:
​
The deposit is non-refundable. This applies to all trips booked from 10th July 2025. All trips booked prior to this will have the specific terms in the payment link provided at the time of booking.

It is, however, possible to move to another trip date (new booking only), subject to availability, if cancellation is more than 25 weeks prior to arrival (20 weeks on bookings made prior to 7th April 2026). This gives adequate time to re-advertise the space. An change fee of $75 USD (or equivalent) will be deducted from the deposit amount being transferred.
There are no changes, rebooks or refunds allowed once the trip balance has been paid. This includes missed excursions whilst on the trip.

Re-booking to another trip can be done once. A further cancellation will result in full loss of deposit.
In the highly unlikely event that we cancel the trip, a full refund will be given. We are not responsible for any resultant losses. If, however, the cancellation is due to an act of war; ie country closed down, we are not liable for a refund of any description.
Travel Requirements & Responsibility
By booking a trip, you confirm that:

You are physically and mentally fit to travel

That you have taken adequate travel insurance (mandatory for all bookings made from 1st April 2026) either through your booking dashboard or with another insurer of your choice

That you are not addicted to any substance such as alcohol and/or drugs

You understand that travel involves a level of personal risk and accept full responsibility for your participation

You will follow local laws, group guidelines, and respect others in the group

That Ladies Travelling Solo Ltd may use any imagery taken of you within the Facebook Group, website or other marketing collateral. You do have the right to refuse to have your photograph taken by the host during your trip
Ladies Travelling Solo is not liable for any delays, changes, cancellations or losses caused by third-party providers (e.g. airlines, transport, accommodation or excursion providers) or for any personal injury, accident, or loss during your trip.
You’re strongly advised to have valid travel insurance for your trip and this is mandatory for bookings made from 1st April 2026 onwards.
Changes & Cancellations
Whilst we always aim to deliver what’s promised, sometimes changes happen. We reserve the right to modify trip details, dates, or pricing where necessary. You’ll always be informed of any significant changes.

If a trip is cancelled by us, you’ll be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future trip. We are not liable for any other resultant losses, such as air travel, which you must have adequate insurance for. Cancellations due to acts of war are outside of our control, and not covered by our guarantee.

We respect your privacy. Please see my full Privacy Policy for details on how your information is collected, stored, and used.
Community Conduct
Ladies Travelling Solo is a safe and welcoming space. We reserve the right to remove or refuse service to anyone whose behaviour is abusive, discriminatory, or disrupts the positive experience for others. This includes being verbally critical of others for their religious or political views. Removal from a trip will be at the guests expense and no refunds will be given. Assistance will be offered to make onward arrangements.
